Sanford, Baumeister & Frazier promotes Kate Robinson
Her new job: Kate Robinson was named principal for Sanford, Baumeister & Frazier PLLC. As a principal, Ms. Robinson takes an active role with the firm’s leadership team, working to help guide the firm towards achieving client service and business development goals.
Her background: She has more than 20 years of experience in the accounting industry. Robinson manages and reviews tax and accounting engagements, trains staff, and heads SB&F’s Business Solutions Services Group, which provides consulting services to small businesses.
Before joining SB&F two years ago as a tax manager, Robinson was with Crescent Real Estate Equities in downtown Fort Worth. Previously she spent two years with The Walton Group LLC and five years at Hartman, Walton, Leito & Bolt LLP (currently Hartman, Leito & Bolt LLP). At both Fort Worth public accounting firms Robinson worked in the tax and audit departments, and she also worked in the areas of outsourcing and payroll. She was also accounting manager for The Leather Factory Inc. in Fort Worth. Robinson is a certified Payroll Professional.
A graduate of Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Robinson received her BBA in accounting.
She has been an active volunteer for Trinity Habitat for Humanity, Women’s Haven of Tarrant County, Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Texas and her church in Weatherford.

Gov. Rick Perry appointed Nizam Peerwani of Fort Worth to the Texas Forensic Science Commission for terms to expire Sept. 1, 2011. The commission oversees professional conduct in forensic laboratories and facilities in Texas.
